Lyn & Bob Bilkey established their jewellery business in 1981 initially selling antique furniture and jewellery it soon became clear for them that their passion was the jewellery side of the business which led to the opening of “The Antique & Jewellery Shop”.

Originally a small store, stocking primarily antique jewellery and having a small onsite workshop it quickly become well known for its high standard of product and personal service. The store has grown to become the family business ‘Bilkey & Co.” that it is well reknown today.

Having grown up in the jewellery business, daughters Kirsten and Jenefer once completing their university studies joined the family business. Jenefer and Kirsten are the design team and buy for the store with regular sourcing trips to international fairs. They are passionate about jewellery and the search for the latest looks and unique product. Their young families are now are growing up in the jewellery world and with 4 generations regularly at work together they feel privileged to be able to work together in such an exciting and beautiful industry.
